Who Am I?
Hey there, I’m Heather, your friendly neighborhood Divorce, Career and Post-Divorce Transition and Recovery Coach. I started my coaching business in the early days of the pandemic. Before that, I had a long career in teaching and mentoring.
My pivot to divorce, post-divorce and career coaching comes from a combination of my own experience and my fascination with post-traumatic growth.
After 14 years in what i had experienced as a happy marriage I was blindsided by divorce. I was emotionally devastated, financially insecure, unprepared to work full -time outside of the home, worried sick about our kids and desperate to feel that I would be ok again one day.
Fast forward to now.
- My kids are ok and what we went through brought us closer together
- I am in a healthy and fulfilling partnership without losing any of the independence and confidence I worked hard to create after divorce
- Our co-parenting situation is smooth and effective and allows us to take good care of our kids together with little tension or conflict
- I have a job that allows me to make a living doing what I love; helping people find purpose and grow through adversity.
I know what it takes to navigate the conflict and overwhelm of divorce with clarity and confidence.
I know what it takes to start over in a career and find meaningful, aligned work.
I know what it takes to create a post-divorce life that isn't defined by what was or should have been but is all seizing the opportunity within change.
And while it’s all good and well for me to know these things, it’s also good for YOU because this is my jam and these things are the focus of my Divorce, Career and Post-Divorce Transition & Recovery Coaching.

I’ve traveled to 48 of the 50 continental states -gonna make it to GA and AK someday!
I once joined a competitive swim team by accident in Guadalajara, Mexico - and I wasn’t terrible!
I nerd out on anything to do with human behavior and psychology, especially when knowing how to do better can improve the quality of your confidence, career and relationships.
